• Transaction Data: purchase history (e.g., paid masters), billing country, last 4 digits/brand via payment processors (we don’t store full card numbers).
• Usage & Device Data: logs, IP address, device/browser type, app version, pages/actions, referral URLs, crash/error diagnostics.
• Cookies & Similar: identifiers and settings used for authentication, analytics, security, and preferences.
• Support & Comms: messages to support, email threads, attachments, call notes.
• Distribution Reports (where applicable): store deliveries, status, takedowns/updates, and DSP reporting we receive.

4) Where We Get Data

• Directly from you when you create an account, upload content, make purchases, or contact support.
• Automatically via cookies, analytics, and device logs when you interact with the Services.
• From partners such as payment processors, audio/mastering partners, hosting providers, analytics vendors, and DSPs involved in distribution.
• Public sources (e.g., public artist profiles) where appropriate and lawful.

5) How We Use Data

• Provide & Improve Services: account creation, authentication, mastering previews/deliverables, distribution to DSPs, quality checks, updates and bug fixes.
• Communications: transactional emails (receipts, resets, critical updates) and—where allowed—product updates and tips (you can opt out).
• Safety & Compliance: fraud and abuse prevention, enforcing Terms, handling takedowns/claims, legal requests.
• Analytics & Personalization: understanding feature usage, improving UI/UX, and showing relevant guidance.
• Payments: to process orders for paid mastering or distribution features via secure third-party payment providers.

6) Legal Bases

Where laws require a legal basis (e.g., Nigeria’s NDPA/NDPR, EU/UK GDPR), we rely on:

• Contract: to provide the Services you request (e.g., mastering, distribution, account access).
• Legitimate Interests: service improvement, analytics, fraud prevention, security.

• Digital Stores/Platforms (DSPs): when you choose distribution, we deliver your content/metadata to DSPs you select, subject to their policies.
• Affiliates & Business Transfers: in connection with corporate transactions, subject to this Policy.
• Legal/Protection: to comply with laws, enforce Terms, or protect rights, property, or safety.
• With Your Direction: e.g., sharing preview links or collaborator access.

We do not sell your personal information. We don’t share for cross-context behavioral advertising where restricted by law.

We operate with global infrastructure and partners. Your data may be processed in countries with different data protection standards. Where required, we use transfer safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
